I'm not going through my flist tonight because I haven't seen the new Battlestar Galactica episode yet and I'm paranoid about spoilers. I do, however, have two incredibly awesome things to link before I watch Supernatural:
'VERONICA MARS: THE MOVIE' IS ON LIKE DONKEY KONG. THEY HAD DAMN WELL BETTER BRING PIZ INTO IT.
Dom & the rest of the 'I Sell the Dead' team photoshoot at Slamdance.
Dean ;__;
Oh, come on, you're kidding me. ANOTHER little girl ghost?!?!
SUPERNATURAL
Oooh, pretty opening shots of the Impala. I want to see some of the other cases! Ones that don't involve little girl ghosts. Seriously. Maybe a good Wendigo hunt or something. The use of light in this scene is fantastic. Oh, Dean's reaction at the end, fabulous.
Another very pretty car shot or two doesn't hurt. The SOLD in the grass, I love that. They're SHOWING exposition instead of TELLING it!! Hee, brother moment. Regular electrical power interrupts their doobiewhatsit? Yeah, that doll head won't come back to haunt them. Well, look at that wholesome white nuclear American family.
Okay, so the daughter isn't exactly little. Which, I guess, is something of an improvement. This episode is just gorgeous.
He's not kinda freaked out that there's somebody out there? Americans are eating more beets! Sorry. West Wing overdose. I like episodes that aren't just about Sam and Dean, that give the guest characters at least a couple of dimensions.
That kid is NOT young enough for crayons. So they lost a kid?
LOL it's totally the ghost. That reminds me of Sirius's Halloween ghost story in
shoebox_project.
Awww, poor Buster! I hate when they hurt dogs :( AND THE CAR. I HATE WHEN THEY HURT THE METALLICAR. 'What kinda ghost messes with a man's WHEELS?' An efficient one?
Dean and kids, magic combination. Ooh, dark side Dean. The boys are more in sync in this episode than they have been. See what sharing does?
I bet she gets in the circle. Oh hey, look who's right? So what is she? Oh, that makes sense, that's why she turns out all the lights.
Oh dear.
OH YOU DID NOT JUST SEND THE WOMAN OFF WITH THE CHILD. FUCK THAT SEXIST BULLSHIT. So she really is just a girl in the walls? Sometimes their job is so gross. Who didn't call Uncle Ted biting it early? Anyone? At least this episode's decently scary, though.
Aww, Dean.
I can't help thinking the mysterious Andy might be important.
'Got himself killed'? Nice. Well, who wouldn't care about saving a little kid?
Eww, I think killer girl's daddy was also her granddaddy, if you know what I'm saying. I called it! Anyone else feel like a) this has been done with The Benders (particularly Missy) and b) they're making a less-than-subtle dig at the Wincest fans?
NIGHT VISION. AWESOME. Well that explains why that cleaner woman never saw any rats. Oh, also, her daddy kept her locked up in near-total darkness but...taught her how to read and write? I'm just saying.
Aww, Dean's on a redemption trip. Poor baby.
That window breaking scared the crap out of me. LMAO HER BROTHER. I mean...um, oooh, scary?
Wait, you mean a WOMAN can FIGHT? *eyeroll*
Aww, Dean!
Nevermind, the woman couldn't fight after all. She needed a big man to save her.
Good thing they found the guns.
HOLY STUNNING SHOT OF DEAN, BATMAN! AWW, DEAN. SERIOUSLY. Writers, we beg of you, give the boy a fucking break every once in a while.
Oh, yay, BSG just finished downloading!
The four that live in the fleet are known now too, though, right?? ONE WILL BE REVEALED.
Aww, Adama :( My heart is racing just from the intro.
Oh, there's a plant! And a Helo, so clearly all hope is not yet lost. Oh, but there's radiation everywhere, nevermind. Two thousand years?! Oh, Helo.
Man, Roslin is just lost.
The colours are so washed out in the Earth scenes. I knew it would be her ship. CRAZY.
N'aww, at least they're still adorable! That kid is so damn cute.
Alternate Cylon centurions? ALL OF EARTH WAS CYLONS?!
Whoa, hey there Chief flashback. So there was a Chief on Earth when it got blasted but the whole Earth was Cylons anyway? WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
Yeah whatever. Is this really the time to rekindle a boring romance plot?
Kara is fearless. Most people would not be able to do that. Also, we've been told point-blank several times that whatever's going on with Starbuck, she's not the finaly Cylon, so wtf? Did they all just lie? She's got Leoben SPOOKED.
All Along the Watchtower! So all the Cylons are having memories.
Lost the plot.
She's burning herself?
Seriously. This is the time you want to do this?
Gaeta! They're making a Thing out of Dee's past here. Oh. Well. That's lovely. Really? 'She's going to be OK?' Well, I guess Boomer failed miserably at the whole killing herself thing, but that looked...pretty final.
Oh, Adamas.
Ahh, the fleet's a cheery place now. Jesus. That's a scene and a half.
Oh, she was covering it up. I get it now. So it's Ellen? Ellen's the last Cylon, after all this? Huh.

I DON'T KNOW WHY YOU DELETED YOUR PIZ ICON. YOU SHOULD UNDELETE IT IMMEDIATELY.
I hadn't thought of that, I guess I just thought it was...uh, supernatural.

As for Dee - I thought that was done so well. She was always the one to hold everything together, particularly in the professional sense, but she clearly lost all hope as nothing else was working for her. She had herself one final lovely moment and decided she wanted to take control. However stupid it was, heh. As for making a thing of her past? I think it more just her seeing her parents' photos in the necklace and satisfied that atleast she'll get to see them after ending her life. She probably felt what will come next will be better than what is happening now. And as much as the majority of us didn't like Lee/Dee, they obviously had nice moments together and a nice final night together - and you gotta appreciate that, that they made each other happy. :) And Lee actually felt like the old Lee again, I was liking Dee for bringing that out of him. Wonder if he'll keep the hope even after someone he cared about lost it.
