So wrecked. Utterly unprepared to teach two classes full of real students NEXT WEEK. I will break them!

Dom's been out and about. He wasn't at the Wolverine world premiere, but he was at the LA one. Pictures are up at WireImages, Rex Features and WENN for those lucky people with accounts. There's also a HIGHLY SPOILERY official movie vid up at MTV and radio interviews, and pics have been posted at [livejournal.com profile] dom_media. If you're a Dom fan you really can't afford not to join there.

Iceland Elects World's First Openly Gay Leader. Awesome!

Grunberg interview that also has videos of Chris Pine and ZQ pimping for his charity of choice, TalkAboutIt, an epilepsy cause. Very, very cute. And apparently Grunberg does appear in Star Trek! Vocally, anyway.

Send your 'Save My Show' video to CNN! SAVE DOLLHOUSE! And, to a slightly lesser extent, Chuck. Also, E! Online's Save One Show poll that I can't vote in.

Boba Fett Fashion in Dollhouse. Yes, I did report this. It is awesome.

Ladies and gentlemen, presenting...The Joss Whedon dancers!

Two guests added to Creation Supernatural con: Aldis Hodge and Jake Abel. I know a couple of flisters would be excited. As Steve Carlson and pretty much every other major player on Supernatural apart from JDM (Castiel! Bobby! Ghostfacers!) is going, this should be a frakking awesome con.

Something that made me LOL today: Dr. Horrible keyring causes fans to blame Joss for lack of creativity. Do they honestly think he has anything to do with them? Like he doesn't have a show to run, a family to care for, comics to write, a movie to direct, he's got time to oversee the creative process that goes into every new piece of merchandise as well? REALLY?

Icons: mostly Lost, favourite icon-maker.

At aforementioned LA premiere, photos by Nikki Nelson. Guh, three-piece suit!

Teaching can be intensely scary (most of the time), but it's also immensely satisfying (some of the time, which makes up for the rest). From my (limited) experience, what counts is 1) being prepared, 2) being a good person and 3) experience. 2) is covered, 1) is probably impossible (now one is EVER prepared) but the fact that you're stressing about it is a good sign and 3) will come. Also, reminding yourself that whatever we like to think about it, we don't actually have the ability to break those kids. We're just not that powerful! (Kind of depressing but also deeply comforting, I find).

*hugs* You can do it!

Actually, compared to the nine-hour assignment I did last night, I'm starting to think it will be cake. I have a whole weekend to prepare!
