Kirk has figured out that Chekov and Sulu beamed down to the planet safely, but as he explains to Spock and Bones, they beamed down in the middle of the night and no-one knows what happened to them from there.
Spock and Bones are sad that their friends are missing. :(
So Kirk convinces them to beam down to the planet with him and attempt to find out what happened, even though he has no clues to go on.
They go down to the transporter room.
Spock: Beam us down, Scotty.
Kirk: I look so hot in this light.
Kirk finds that the new transportation system upsets his allergies. He wonders if they're going to end up at war over this. Again.
Bones: Dammit, Jim, I'm a doctor not an away team!
They manage to beam down right in front of the home of two of the planet's leaders. How lucky for them!
They meet the queen, and Kirk indicates that he is complimenting her on her lovely sand home. Things seem to be going well, in spite of the language differences.
Bones: Dammit, Jim, I'm a doctor not a diplomat!
Unfortunately, the alien guards who meet Bones and Kirk are not quite as open to attempts at diplomacy. Due to their Crazy and Inappropriate traits, they manage to offend Spock and Bones mere seconds into their first meeting.
Meanwhile, the alien Queen is Talking Madness at Kirk, and seems to be inviting him to stay on the planet....indefinitely.
Kirk doesn't take well to what is essentially an invitation to be kidnapped. Dislike is rising on both sides.
One of the Queen's guards steps in and declares that Kirk is no longer welcome on the planet. The Simterprise crew have managed to make enemies of the aliens in less than five minutes.
Meanwhile, Chekov and Sulu have stopped watching TV.
Part 5: Fool me once, shame on Kirk. Fool me twice...more shame on Kirk.
