Dom has a habit of wearing shoes with, like, ugly pointy bits on the end.
And I just had a spaztastic slash moment where I thought that Orlando's name really was "Orlijah".
Today wasn't very interesting. I had to wake up early again because we had a new washing machine delivered and I was again the only person home. Then I just waited until my lecture at 2 (cleaning in the meantime), came home, and that's about it really. Met Maria to get notes. Yep.

1.What's your favourite pairing and why?
Domlijah is my OTP forever. TINHAT SOLIDARITY! I just think they have chemistry, they work together. It makes sense to me. They're so wonderful together.
Clark/Lex, of course, is my favourite fiction pairing, because of the constant eyefucks.
2.What sorts of fics don't you like and why?
There's an exception to every rule. I don't usually like WIPs but I like
abundantlyqueer's, I don't usually like AUs but I've written one. I suppose the only fics I really hate are bad ones.
I must say this. If the words "I do like girls. I'm bi" or an excessive number of "I love you"s appear in the fic I won't like it.
3.What would you like to read more of?
GOOD WRITING!!! Right now I've got a Dom/Orli fluff thing going, and a skinny-dipping obsession. But just in general I would like to read more good fics.
There is also a lack of really strong supporting characters in fanfiction. There are so many to choose from, esp. in the LotRiPS fandom. C'mon, guys!
4.Do you have a problem with reading fics where one or more of the characters are married in real life?
Not particularly, if it's convincingly written.
5.How often do you give feedback?
Generally, when a fic really gets through to me in some way. I read so many fics every day that usually I just scan through them. If I think it's going to be good I'll keep reading.
If I think a writer has a lot of potentialbut isn't there yet, or has something they could improve on but everything else is good in the fic, I'll say that, because constructive criticism is useful.
6.To which ratings do you read and why?
Oh, anything and everything. I'll read right through from G to NC17.
I'm sick of people writing PG13 for "boys kissing." In my opinion, that's completely G rated. It's not like they rate Disney movies PG13 because het people kiss in them.
7.Several chapters or ficlets? What do you prefer?
Ficlets, because I'm much too impatient to keep up with most WIPs. If the whole story is on an archive and I have a lot of time to spare I'll read it, but I prefer to read the whole thing in one sitting.
8.Which is the best fic you have ever read?
Anything by

Writing
1.What pairings do you write?
Mostly Domlijah, Dom/Orli and Clark/Lex. Have also written on occasion:
Justin/Lance
Bobby/St John (Pyro/Iceman)
Orli/Elijah
Julio/Tenoch (Y Tu Mama Tambien)
Monaboyd
And written once:
Seanlijah
Billijah
Billy/Orli
Corey/Shawn (Boy Meets World)
Clark/Whitney
Dom Monaghan/Michael Rosenbaum
2.Where do you get your inspiration?
Everywhere and anywhere. Sometimes from my LJ friends, sometimes from things I see in real life or ideas I think I'd like to see. Often from challenges (esp.
contrelamontre.
3.Where do you first write the story; on the computer or on paper?
Well if I'm at uni or out I write it on paper first, and sometimes if I'm home and that's what works. I write at the computer mostly for challenge fics, things like that.
4.Do you prefer writing long or short fics?
Again, short fics, because my stories usually aren't about an actual story but kind of...a moment in time, or a scene or two, or something similar.
5.Do you form the story in your head before writing it or do you just let the words flow?
They just go usually. I get an idea and let my pen or fingers to the rest--though that's more frustrating when I get stuck.
For the longer fics I usually plan them. My most planned fic remains quebrante--I have about 3 pages of organisational notes on that in my old uni notebook.
6.Do you have a favourite among the fics you have written? Which one and why?
I've already discussed Doppelganger the other day (my all-time favourite). quebrante's a sentimental favourite. I also like Fortification, the Corey/Shawn fic I wrote.
All my fiction is at Once You Pop.
Link of the Day is Fandom Wank, because it's been entertaining me all day.
Okay, I have a REQUEST for Angel viewers in the States. Please, please, PLEASE stop spoiling me? I already know more than I want to about this season!!!
Guess what? My Pics of the Day theme today is Boys In Drag!!!

Okay, after yesterday, I felt compelled to make a really angry icon for post-BOBW. What do you think?
