I just went to watch this Mark Salling interview at YouTube and then spent half an hour watching more Mark Salling interviews on YouTube. GUH GUH GUH HOLY CRAP.
This was one of the weaker episodes so far, but as the show's pretty strong it was still good. It just wasn't as good as the awesomeness of Preggers, which is a bit of a bummer. I love Kristin Chenoweth as much as the next huge fan of both Wicked and Pushing Daisies (and Olive, who's my favourite) but I do think they needed to make the episode less about her. I mean, she was amazing, don't get me wrong. I love her singing. But we had like three scenes of the same thing - Schue trying to get her to change, her not changing, repeat. Glee is about the glee club and needs to stay about the glee club. Also, when Schue kind of brushed off Kurt getting drunk and puking in the hallway I had a moment of pure blind rage. That's horrible behaviour, and it made me reeeeally mad. Oh, also not funny was that kid trying to get Rachel to flash him for a good review. Meanwhile, Puck is just killing me, and it was nice to see the whole Glee club back together (and Rachel coming around, yay!) 'Somebody to Love' was an amazing number. Still, needs more of the kids and less of the adults, I think. We still really barely know Tina, Artie, Puck or Quinn, and only know the names of the other jocks and Cheerios. And really, who can get enough Kurt? His gossip face was hilarious, and "April should stay...I worship her." I ♥ my 11-year-old milkmaid. Cowboy!Kurt and Artie have to be the cutest things in the world.
I did like getting to see a darker side of Finn. When all is said and done, he and Rachel both have a fair bit in common - they're very ambitious, and are willing to hurt people to get what they want, but ultimately try to do the right thing. Also, I think he's really genuinely conflicted, and having a huge amount of trouble trying to figure it all out. Cory Monteith...still can't dance. It's kinda cute. Meanwhile, Puck's lashing out (in a totally girl-bitchy way, which is kinda interesting) and Terri...stopped existing for a week. And we got to see Quinn out of uniform for maybe the first time ever (the bikini doesn't count.)
All that said, I can't stop listening to Kristin and Matty Fresh singing Alone. Wow. Awesome. And does anyone know who did that Heart of Glass cover when Schue arrived at April's door?
In conclusion:

In other words, Glee just makes me happy.
Dollhouse will be pre-empted on October 16th for baseball. Blech.
Felicia Day on Jimmy Fallon.
Anybody with Getty access?. I really want the ones with Joss in 'em.
Okay, I lasted a while before posting this, but: Reminder that Roman Polanski raped a child, why I love Javi, list of celebrities who've spoken out against Polanski, Not On, Hollywood - if there's someone on the list of jerks who support Polanski that you feel strongly about, you can write a letter there. (Alfonso Cuaron, I guess I will have to find another filmmaker to be my baby daddy. Jerk.)
Lightsaber chopsticks. Do. Fucking. Want.
Physicists prove that a mall is the best place to hide in case of zombie attack. Good to know that's what physicists are doing these days. Big Bang Theory: fact or fiction?
Icons: Dollhouse & BSG, multi-fandom, Glee & Supernatural.

When I heard Sandy wanted to write himself into a scene as Queen Cleopatra, I was aroused, then furious

I'm so disappointed in some of the artists in that pro-Polanski list :(
I mean, wtf Pedro Almodovar!!! Terry Gilliam!
and thank you for the list of the ones who DON'T support him
TV people FTW apparently

Yeah, it's pretty much horrific. Thank the TV gods that those people are sane. I'd like to see what Joss has to say.

Puck is killing me. That shirtless scene? Damn. Also, drunk!Kurt cracked me up. His face...

My sister mentioned the shirtless scene too. He's been way more shirtless before, though, so I guess it didn't have the same impact on me; I was more amused by Kristin following him out.
It didn't crack me up, because he looked so miserable, and he's at school, and it was an awful thing to do to him - and Schue should've known it.

Okay, from that point of view it was awful but I just couldn't help but crack up when I saw his face. I'm a horrible person, lol.

It's weird, because on a lot of teen shows I want to see more of the adults, but on this one I want to see more of the kids too! When is Artie going to get a spotlight episode? The only adult character I'm a really big fan of is Emma, but she has had plenty of time in the spotlight.

Yeah, but in most shows the kids often aren't as interesting as the adults, whereas in this show the kids are awesome. I'm a fan of Sue, though, I notice that episodes tend to be more fun when she has a decent role in them.
I WANT AN ARTIE EPISODE! I think we're getting one in a few weeks, "Wheels".

I LOVE THAT! He is still so uncoordinated, even with the line dancing! He kind of lumbers, and it's very cute :]
