HOLY CRAP BOYD.

I don't see how he can just be a bad guy. I mean, what's the motivation of going undercover as a security guy if he was just trying to destroy the world? Why is he so protective of Echo? I think he might be upset about what happened to Rossum and trying to fix it. At least, that's my current theory. Although it doesn't really explain Clyde. Augh!

There were so many references to other Joss projects. The Hyperion and "can probably kill you with her brain" are the only ones I remember right now, but I know I noticed more of them. Also, The Attic kinda reminded me of that hell dimension/suburb in Angel.

Also, Anthony/Victor and Priya/Sierra ♥ those two are so amazing together. It's one of the only ships I like. The only disappointing thing about it is that we won't get to see him play anyone else on this show again. Anthony is sweet enough, but he's not as interesting as some of Victor's personas, and while Enver is just as convincing playing Anthony as he is playing anyone else, I feel like they could give him more to do. I loved seeing Roger back, Roger is so sexy. Gratuitous shirtlessness! I am really interested in Caroline, and I think Eliza is stronger as Caroline than Echo. Much more interesting. The whole composite-Echo thing doesn't always track. The Borg hive mind conspiracy (code name: RESISTANCE IS FUTILE!) but was really interesting, I wish it had gone on a bit longer.

CLAIRE, WTF. Why did she DO that?! Was she really a sleeper, or did she maybe just want to hurt Topher? They seemed to have toned down the crazy in Bennett for these episodes, although I can't really figure out why she turned into a nutjob after Caroline got herself caught to protect Bennett. Summer was terrific. Topher has terrible taste in women, but he's awesome. Fran did such a good job in these episodes. His path to crazy town actually makes sense, you can see it all in him. He was so good to Ivy, too.

HOLY CRAP ADELLE. I didn't see her plan coming at ALL. The Attic was an amazing episode, I reeeeeally liked it. HOW BADASS IS ADELLE? "Well, I guess we can agree this carpet's done for." I love how you never know what's going on inside her head (don't love what's on it right now, though - that hair is awful). Seeing everybody on the same side fighting the system was amazing.

UNTIL THE BOYD REVEAL. WTF is that? I'm torn on how I should feel: is it awesome, or is it too White Collar?

Only two more to go!

OMG I just finished watching last episode and... MY MIND JUST BLOWN UP ! I already was like "WHAT THE HELL" when Claire did what she did, but I though that was it for the twist everyone was talking about and then... OMG Boyd !

I completely know what you're talking about. I'm still in shock. I finished watching the episode 34 mins ago (thanks twitter for the record) and I still can't see where this came from. I can't really figure out what was his plan yet. I mean WHY such a complicated and dangerous plan for him (he might have died working as a handler, even if he probably have some backups of himself just in case)... I'm still confused.

That is exactly what it's like, White Collar. It seems completely out left field and I cant quite understand why it turns out to be Boyd/Burke. Mindbending, yes. Understandable, no. Heh with both of them I was thinking "ok, wtf can it possibly be?" Running down the possibilites, and nope, I wasnt even close to who it actually was.

My husband has a theory regarding Boyd. All but 3% (or something) of Clyde's simulations resulted in apocalyptic doom, yes? Well James figures that maybe Boyd is trying to force a best cast scenario somehow. Regardless I don't find his treatment of Echo out of place; whatever his plan is, he needed to protect Echo and nurture her for some purpose. I guess the question is what that purpose is. Does he want to destroy the world? Or is he somehow trying to prevent world destruction? Or does he have some other motivation entirely? I really hope all of this stuff is resolved in the next two episodes because while I thought the twist was awesome television, it would come across as desperate and stupid if it doesn't end up making sense within the context of the show. I guess we'll have to wait and see. I have faith in Joss and Co. that they'll pull everything together.

As for Bennett, I feel like her animosity towards Caroline is a matter of perspective. We saw that Caroline was sacrificing herself, while Bennett only saw her friend abandoning her trapped under a filing cabinet or whatever. I'm glad she was a bit less Riveresque and more Bennett, I guess, in this episode.

I really adore Adelle's snarky comments. And Adelle period, really.

HAHAHAHA, White Collar!

I actually love both twists! (Though & have more faith that Joss & co will be able to back it up in the 2 (!) episodes we have left!)
