"A Potter musical would be intersting, wouldn't that be cool? Someone should do that at some point, I think it would be funny."

Just trollin'.

ETA: Also, today I had to buy a new fish tank because the old one sprung a leak, and I decided to get a new fish to go with it. He is mostly mottled grey and white. I have named him Commander Up. (My two pre-existing fish are called Bait and Switch - ten points for catching the reference.) I'm just hoping the new tank proves to be Puck-proof - he's already been getting up on the lid, which is not quite as sturdy as the old tank's lid.

All those interview vids have been making my LIFE lately.

God, I love them.

YESSSSSSS CAUSE DARREN'S FACE OMG. I HAVEN'T EVER SEEN HIM LOOK THAT ANNOYED BEFORE, EVER.

And the planking. I couldn't believe that.

...that whole interview (if you could even call it that) was a gigantic ball of awkward.

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

The interviews with everyone...I've never, ever seen Ashley be awkward about anything and even she was side-eyeing them something fierce. Mostly Darren's face, though. I've never seen him look so genuinely unimpressed. I love it SO much.

Those girls make me want to kill people.

ME TOO.

It was literally painful to watch.

I think Darren was sick or something too (he seemed ... I don't know, either sick or just completely exhausted) and that look was totally a "I do NOT feel like doing this right now."

Oh girls...

He had a sinus infection. At the same time as me! Isn't that exciting? Seems he's had it for a while, so yeah, he was sick.

From: [identity profile] lavender-love00.livejournal.com

I figured it was a sinus infection ... he sounded really stuffy.

Did he say he had one in an interview or something?

......was he sharing his germs with you? is that how you got it???

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

He said he had one during a red carpet interview...I forget which one. I took antibiotics and slept a lot and now I'm all better.

If so, it was only telepathic. Believe me, I'd suffer through a million sinus infections to share germs with Darren.

Ew.

:( Poor bb.

He seemed rather under the weather ... not his normal bouncy happy self.

...he seems like he's ALWAYS got a sinus infection.

Probably because he cannot do the sleeping-alot part of the recovery.

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

He is incapable of rest. He reminds me of when I was a little kid and refused to go to bed because I didn't want to miss out on anything.

How did I not know you have fish? O___o

I kinda thought I was supposed to end up with Bait, but...

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

...I don't know? I have fish. Three fish, now.

Of course you got the reference! Nobody in real life ever gets it, which is hilarious. They just think I'm mean. "You named your fish Bait?!" Then again, my old fish was called Fishsticks.

Mine too! Well, almost my favourite joke. The Bad Horse Chorus, if you consider them a joke, are my favourite joke. The bouncing.

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

Nothing! It got fin rot and I'm trying to cure it using medicine but it's not responding, it's just dying more. Its whole tail vanished when I was on holiday.

From: [identity profile] entwashian.livejournal.com

Oh no! That is sad! Are you going to have a fish funeral?

How do they get it?

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

Nah, I flushed it.

I don't know, but I got the new fish and then I fed them with one of those holiday feeders, and tehre was a new tank, so could be anything I guess.

The best bit is him just :| straight at the camera as the interviewer remains oblivious.

These interviews the last few days have been very... candid. I approve.

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

That's my favourite part too. It cracks me up.

He's been sick so I guess he's not quite bouncy puppy Darren lately, but I like the latest interviews. They're interesting.

How do people get money? I so want to go to New York to see Darren in H2$ but I don't think I can afford it. Robbing banks, maybe? I'm too wimpy to sell a kidney. The girl I sat next to at the Glee con won money in the lottery but I'm deeply unlucky and have never won so much as a pot luck in my life.

He has been sick, but I don't think it's just that - combo of this, him talking about being a pushover, him telling how he really feels about that woman pulling him off-stage, and Lea telling about how he "plays" girls - it's very much dismantling the caricature people have of him which is in no way a bad thing. He's being honest, sometimes his enthusiasm is not genuine, it's just very sweet politeness - you can tell when it is and when it's not - and I'd rather him be honest, ESPECIALLY if it makes people realise what he's really like. Because I love him, snark, pissiness, ego and all, but a lot of people love the cartoon Darren and don't even pick up on when he's being the most real. I want people to love him, but I want them to love him for who he is.

The pushover one was the big thing for me. This has been obvious to me for a long time, that he puts on a good face 100% of the time and does what he's asked even when it isn't what he wants - this is the guy who did two performance events in one night because they were both for charities and he can't say no - but I've been shouted down a bit before for saying "he might not be into this 100%, he just has confrontation problems and can't say no." - I thought this was really obvious but other people act like he's the energizer bunny on speed by choice... so it was interesting to me that he admitted this and I will be interested to see what fandom makes of it.

Money.. I don't know. My rent isn't much, and I don't spend money on much... food, DVDs, that's kinda it. I save a LOT towards travel. It's pretty much the only thing I spend money on. I'm also having a garage sale this weekend!

I think there's elements of both. I mean, I think he really wants to take advantage of the opportunities he's getting right now, doesn't want to miss out on anything. Then again we could all be wrong, I wouldn't presume to judge. I just enjoy the fact that he exists.

My rent is high and I already got rid of a lot of stuff when I moved out. I swear I don't get paid enough for what I do, either. I've been looking at doing my taxes and I can't work out how they can take so much of my money :S I try to be good and I'm comparatively pretty frugal - I'm one of the more financially responsible people in my family - but I still never seem to have any money.

Oh yeah, Harry's there too!

...what one-track mind?

I did notice that, but mostly because he wasn't Mark, who was there for most of the other Darren & Ashley interviews in the round. And because I looked for their reactions to the musical bit.
