Really gives a feeling for the scope and tragedy of the thing, doesn't it?

Does anyone else feel slightly bereaved every time they finish reading Deathly Hallows? Like it's the end all over again? I desperately hope that they don't fuck with 'The Silver Doe' or 'The Forest Again' when making Deathly Hallows. I'm sure the combined forces of Steve Kloves and the various changes that have already been made will do a suitable job of destroying the rest of the movie, but those two chapters are so important to me.

Also, I know JKR is supposed to be quite involved with the making of the movies, but I can't believe how much difference has been allowed to slide by when it's going to change a lot of the landscape for the 7th movie.

Pretty much all my e-mail notifications from the last week-ish just hit my ibnox at once. Nice one, LiveJournal.

Apparently, the 'Dark Knight' score is ineligible to win an Oscar because too many people worked on it. This is like how the Coen brothers always put just one name as director. It's ridiculous. Filmmaking is collaborative!
