Does anyone else think this was incredibly rude? I mean, sure, don't like the guy on Idol, but laughing in his face on the street? Now that's nasty.

It's the kind of thing that makes you embarassed to even be on a community with people like that.

That's so not right... why are people so awful?

I don't even know who Lee Harding is, but that is unbelievably rude.

What I find most rude is that this person felt the need to re-join a community to tell all his story - the bragging aspect of it. I mean, I have a celebrity encounter story similar with Gregory Smith of "Everwood" but I didn't go on an Everwood comm and tell everyone about it. No, I didn't laugh at him. It was a triple take with varying emotions.

The thing is, if he wasn't at all famous, she would never have done that if she saw him in the street.
People seem to think that it's ok to be rude to people if they are in any bit famous.

The realyl stupid thing is, he doesn't look any weirder than loads of people in Australia, so I really don't see what the big fuss is about. Everyone goes on about how 'hard-core' or 'punk' he looks, but he's normal to me. There are odder looker people about the place.

And anyone that laughs at ANYone's appearance, no matter who they are, should really get slapped fair in the face.

gosh, I don’t know about Australian Idol but this is offending to any human being! how can this person think she has the right to laugh at someone because of its looks or image on TV? I understand now your rants about this community!

how on earth is greenie being self-righteous? she's just saying it like it is, that other poster was incredibly rude and immature with her actions, and hi! so are you.

Damn it. They've editted the post. (one 't' or two 't's? *blanks out*)

Care to recap what it was they said? I'm curious.

One t.

They said they were out riding their bike in Sydney when they saw Lee Harding in an open-top car. They laughed out loud and then said "he looked really pissed off." Um. Yeah.

That'd be rude even if he wasn't famous.
