Slayers no more - the curse of Buffy? Which is, you know, total bullshit. I reckon the Buffy cast are not only doing alright but doing well. And so do most of the commenters at Whedonesque, it would seem.
Just read it. It doesn't mention that SMG's going to be in 'Southland Tales', which is being directed by Richard fucking Kelly (Donnie Darko, people) and it calls 'The Girls' Guide to Hunting & Fishing' a horror movie, when it's obviously a romcom. It labels Alyson Hannigan's RENEWED TV show 'struggling', can't actually figure out many negative things to say about David Boreanaz's career apart from 'These Girls' (I don't count the music video - What about Alan Rickman in Texas's 'In Demand'? Christopher Walken in 'Weapon of Choice'? Are they struggling?), and seems to be totally ignorant of ASH's new pilot and broadway roles (and the enormous popularity of Little Britain.) It can only be convincing about Nick Brendon, and managing a role in a show that even gets picked up (and was fairly good from what I've heard) can't really be considered a low. It also ignores all the other Buffy alums. It doesn't manage to make its point at all, so why even bother writing it?!
I did an assignment today, then took it to unit to hand it in where the PRINTERS DIDN'T WORK. Fuckers. So I didn't get it in by 5, the office was closed, and I'll get an extra weekend's deduction. Joy.

Just because Kitchen Confidential didn't get picked up for a second season doesn't mean it was a career low for Nicholas.

And you are totally right about that article. Plus, I love how they call the Scooby Doo movies a post-Buffy low for SMG. I guess they weren't thinking about the piles of cashy money those movies made?
