You know what? Sometimes it just sucks being a non-American Lost fan. You guys get all the cool stuff. Plus I can't be involved in this fandom thing I really REALLY want to take part in. Nor can I submit questions for the Damon/Carlton podcast, or vote on their theme song, or watch the show on my TV every week. We don't even have TiVo in Australia. The internet is, of course, an absolute lifesaver in terms of fandom - at least I get to watch the show not long after you guys and be involved with things like The Fuselage, Naveen-Andrews.net and the great fan community - but I feel like I miss out on a lot too.
I don't necessarily want to be American or dislike being Australian, but it's so inconvenient sometimes. You feel like an inferior fan by virtue of distance.
I wish Tom and Nina would hurry up and visit already.
Ugh, listen to me feeling sorry for myself.

I haven't ever been able to afford one of the really big international conventions though, and I do so want to go to one. I want to meet all the Hobbits. And Nathan Fillion.
I just discovered that Wentworth Miller played Gage in the episode of Buffy where Xander wore a speedo and had to share it. Dude.
