GIP by toastandtea - is it wrong that this icon turns me on?

Am dead after weekend and con today, but here's a couple of notes on the Firefly/etc. convention. If you want a fuller report just ask and I'll do one tomorrow when I'm more undead.

-John Billingsley and his wife Bonita Friedericy are the most adorable couple and they're utterly hilarious. Loved them. Also which I'd known she was in Veronica Mars!

-R.D Price is a very nice, very smart man and I wish I'd gone to his directing workshop. *pouts*

-I didn't get to talk to Jewel very much and she didn't get to talk a lot on stage but she seemed really nice and gracious and friendly. She's really skinny but not in a scary way. Just in a skinny way. Very pretty.

-Jonathan Woodward bought my love with beer and conversation. Well, that, good looks, humour, and by being sober for most of the day (gasp! no!) SO much love. Of course I've had a crush on him since Holden, so it wasn't hard. Nathan didn't really kiss him. Jonathan wishes he had. XD

-I bought a Serenity mug that Jonathan scribbled all over and a comic Seth Green co-created and signed. I spent more money than I have any right to and am now REALLY broke. I mean, I deserved the presents I bought myself, but still.

I also went to dinner with the family which would have been traumatic if not for my cousin and say tuatha_de, sherrif_topato and melissajane14, however briefly.

I will try to catch up on my flist a little but I really am exhausted. Did anything good happen?

I'm just wondering if you've read the latest Empire Movie Miscellany, particularly the bottom of page 37. If you haven't, read it and let me know what you think. WARNING: risk of a shock! ;)

Uh, well since 37 in my latest issue of Empire is actually Mandy Moore, I'm thinking we might have different issues. I'm pretty sure there are different UK and Australian Empire magazines.
