Get To Know Your F-List Week!
Every day I'll ask two random questions. All you have to do is answer them!

Day One
1. What's your favourite episode of television ever?
2. If you could swap places with anyone on your friends list for a day, who would it be?

1. It's probably a tie between Ariel and Once More, With Feeling. They're just brilliant, amazingly written and perfectly structured episodes, and OMWF was such a gamble.
2. Unsurprisingly, [livejournal.com profile] truffle_shuffle. She lives in LA and has a job that I am enamoured of and gets to meet and talk to some of my heroes and just gets to do the most awesome things. Plus, if I swap for a day I don't have to deal with the bullshit dramas of her friends.

Love!

1. My favorite episode of television ever is one from a local Philippine show called Marina. Our shows don't have episode titles, so all I know is that this was the episode where the show's main villain turned what she thought was the heroine into a milkfish. Campy fun!

2. I'd swap with [livejournal.com profile] headachehead, because her posts about her mom's job are so cryptic that I want to be her just to find out what it is her mom really does.

1 -- I dont know if I could pinpoint a favorite... but id probably say Hush from BTVS... it was such a... creepy but beautiful episode. And it was the first Willow/Tara moment. *gush*

2 -- Id swap with [livejournal.com profile] waitingtoland... its my friend Sal who is backbacking round..... everywhere. I think she is in Japan at the mo...

Hey, I picked Hush too, tho' I did not remember the episode name.

From: [identity profile] sassywitch.livejournal.com

1. I have so many but I'd have to go with Once More with Feeling and Hush. I loved Amber in both of these and she jsut glowed in OMWF and it was such a risk but worked so damn well.

2. I'd swap with [livejournal.com profile] piratesorka for greedy purposes really, she lives in the same town as my partner, and I'd like her to see my town.

From: [identity profile] foxsyd.livejournal.com

1. Umm... ok, not entirely sure as I've never thought of it before, but maybe a Buffy episode, The Gentlemen stands out. And the one where Joyce died made me cry. But then Heroes came along and blew me away with it's pilot episode, and it's since had episodes that had me jumping up and down. I think "Company Man" should get an award, and Peter Petrelli wasn't even in it! And "Five Years Gone" was EXTREME!

2. Nobody. I don't want to swap places with anybody.

From: [identity profile] leishpod.livejournal.com

argh it's too hard! my head exploded trying to think of answers!

i will ponder it all. and get back to you ;P

From: [identity profile] outoftime.livejournal.com

1. I probably have to say "Prophecy Girl". Although I really also want to say "Innocence". It's tough. One of those two.
2. Probably [livejournal.com profile] truffle_shuffle too, actually! She seems to have the coolest job/life. :)

From: [identity profile] morebliss.livejournal.com

1. Firefly's "Our Mrs. Reynolds", if just for Mal's "How drunk was I last night?" question to Jayne.
2. Hmmm, probably [livejournal.com profile] dashery, so I could experience the joys of motherhood, without actually, you know, having the babies!

From: [identity profile] viennawaits.livejournal.com

1. This is a tough one, but I think it's a tie between the Sex in the City episode when Aidan comes back, s3 or s4, I think. And, the Wonder Years episode when Kevin's math teacher died. I remember that episode so much. Kevin's look back at the end. Oh and the episode with the walk-out

2. [livejournal.com profile] msmiraclegro, because she's going to England at the end of the summer and I would do anything to have a place to go this summer.

From: [identity profile] corellianjedi.livejournal.com

1. Yikes. Um... probably "Shoe Money Tonight" from Sports Night. We watch it aaaaaaaaall the time. Between Ste and I, we can recite almost the whole thing.

2. [livejournal.com profile] indilime. Just so I could get some beignets. :D

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

1. What I know about Sports Night: Sabrina Lloyd was on it and Aaron Sorkin wrote it.
2. LMAO but what would you do with the rest of your day?

1. This question is just insane. Ever?! Are you kidding me? It's hard enough picking my favorite Heroes (five years gone) or West Wing (the one that ends with Little Drummer Boy) or Scrubs (My Way Home) or X-Files (the one with Peter Boyle) or Lost (Walkabout) or Flying Circus (somewht impossible, really) or Slings & Arrows or Kids in the Hall or Dinosaurs or any one of the many many shows I've been enamored with over the years.

2. How cool would it be to be Chaodai for a day? Seriously.

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

1. Yeah, I know it's hard, but that's the point! You've got to really THINK.
2. I hadn't thought of that, but it totally would!

From: [identity profile] truffle-shuffle.livejournal.com

1. Do you have any idea how hard this question is? Jeez. Ok, I guess I'll go with Once More With Feeling, which is ironic for the musical aspect, but makes sense in that it may have been the best episode of Buffy ever. Though Hush, The Gift, and The Body are close behind.

2. I'd switch with you, on a weekend because I couldn't do your job, and I'd just drive around looking at the scenery and enjoying being in Australia.

(And thanks!! At this point, you could switch with me and have no friends drama whatsoever.)

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

YES I know how hard it is!!! It was hard for me too. I should have said one from each show. Would've made it a lot easier.

My job really isn't that hard. Also, I'm in Canberra. It's not scenerific.

1. This is tough. The only episodes coming to mind now are Lost - Pilot, Veronica Mars - Leave it to Beaver, and The Office - The Injury.
2. I'd switch with anybody who lives in the UK, because I really want to go there for a visit.

From: [identity profile] sunlit5.livejournal.com

1- Fave eppie? Oh God!

Ummm... Probably Vitameatavegimin on I Love Lucy.

Priceless.

2- I don't know, honestly.

1. THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE TO ANSWER!! I have one for each series. DAMNIT.
Firefly: Out of Gas / Friends: when Chandler and Phoebe flirt / VM: the one with the carnival and the stolen money. / TO: Drug Testing / Titus: when Dave speaks french.

2. Anyone with a boyfriend. HA.
I'd trade with truffle_shuffle in the past, so I can be the one meeting Simon Pegg. WHY?!?!?!? woe.

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

Veronica Mars: Ain't No Magic Mountain High Enough. You know, FYI.

SERIOUSLY. I LOVED THAT MOVIE!

1. the very first episode of BtVS. because i LOVED the movie, was worrie that the tv show would be AWFUL and it after that first ep i knew that i was already addicted.

2. [livejournal.com profile] ack_attack because i would want to know what it's like to be made of awesome. or [livejournal.com profile] truffle_shuffle cause a) sweet job b) GINORMOUS BRAIN.

From: [identity profile] supertrink.livejournal.com

1. At the moment, I'm still kinda obsessed with the Season 3 Lost finale, so that's my answer!
2. I would swap with [livejournal.com profile] mysticltwilight because she's going to be working at a ren faire this summer and i'm jealous!

From: [identity profile] v-greyson.livejournal.com

1. the episode of Battlestar Galactica with the boxing ring.

2. haha, my default answer was [livejournal.com profile] truffle_shuffle, and that seems to be mighty popular. so i will say [livejournal.com profile] qwantz because he is my hero.

From: [identity profile] soleta-nf.livejournal.com

1. Firefly, Out of Gas
2. [livejournal.com profile] citibyrd, to try her family's homemade vegan cooking and to check out Seattle!

From: [identity profile] ack-attack.livejournal.com

1. Dude this is SO HARD TO ANSWER.

But I'm going to say either Casino Night of The Office. Or about 10 different Lost episodes. Or this one episode of My So Called Life that I don't know the name of right now LOL.

2. I think...[livejournal.com profile] chaoticpictures because she's in Italy. Or any of the girls from Spain haha like [livejournal.com profile] blindbeats.

From: [identity profile] exsequar.livejournal.com

1. Oh dear, that's hard! Hmmmmmmm. Devil's Trap, because it still gets me in the gut, Objects in Space because TAMS, and Graduation Day because FaithandBuffyandAngel oh my god. I watch too much TV to pick just one! :)

2. [livejournal.com profile] shinetastic. She just moved to Hawaii and it sounds amazing :)

From: [identity profile] bachlava.livejournal.com

"Once More, With Feeling" is indeed beyond brilliant - it's tempting to sing along, but I don't because I have a terrible voice and live in an apartment building with thin walls. On my part...

1. The X-Files, "Christmas Carol." In terms of acting, cinematography, and directing, one of the best episodes of television ever put on TV. It impresses even more than all the terrific episodes of other shows simply because Gillian Anderson basically had to carry the whole thing herself, and she really made it work.

2. I can only pick one?

From: [identity profile] overthemoo.livejournal.com

1. BtVS' Body was so beautiful. Hush and Restless were so unique and amazing as well. And lastly Once More, with Feeling was just...amazing. And like you said, it was such a gamble. But with Joss' appreciation of musicals, he probably did everything he could to not disappoint fans of said genre. Though, I can't stand to watch anything if it involves death, so him able to create this episode in such a way that got across all the real emotions and made it something I could watch more than once - that was quite an accomplishment in my case. Can we just consider all of Joss' work an episode in itself? Buffy..Firefly...all of it? :D

2. Quite possibly [livejournal.com profile] starryeyedmagic who lives in New York and sees tons of great shows and musicals all the time. I'm insanely jealous.

From: [identity profile] jrho.livejournal.com

1. Once More, With Feeling is probably my favorite as well. I have the soundtrack and have been known to listen to it on repeat for days. It's one of the few tv episodes I can watch over and over again. I especially love how Joss made the episode important and not just a throw away joke.

2. I would swap with either [livejournal.com profile] telesilla or [livejournal.com profile] apple_pi. They both have amazingly writing skills that I envy, strong relationships with loving partners, and live in places I would love to be.

From: [identity profile] leeshy-s.livejournal.com

1. What's your favourite episode of television ever?
Oh gosh. I absolutely love Abyss from Stargate SG1. I could watch that episode over and over (and I have)
2. If you could swap places with anyone on your friends list for a day, who would it be?
I think [livejournal.com profile] carencey77 She's just so smart and gets papers published and has been an extra in movies which is just way too cool.

1.Ever? That is a hard question... Viva Las Vegas (Roswell) and Objects in Space (Firefly). Viva Las Vegas, was just a break from the season that the show was having up to that point. It reminded the audience why they loved the show and characters. It was just a great excuse for some fun. Objects in space was the first episode of Firefly I ever saw... and then it was cancelled. It was so different and dark and it made me fall in love with the show and the characters.

2. As for a friend to swap with, they aren't on LJ, but my friend is a Kiwi with a working visa who is working and travelling across Europe for a year and a half before he comes here to North America for a year to do the same thing. I would swap with him in a heart beat, he is living my dream! But alas I don't have the money, time and I was accepted into my program so I may start my career before I get to have a huge European getaway.

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

I think Objects in Space is a really, really popular one.
