I have an ulcer on my tongue and it hurts :(
I forgot to mention, I left
spnnewsletter. I won't be able to do it when I get a full-time job anyway because of the time difference, and I decided to leave now before the holiday season and job-searching starts in earnest. I'll miss it though, I always discovered so many interesting things on a Wednesday.
We've been sold to the Russians. SixApart gave up on us, it seems.
Erm, Michelle Trachtenburg and Zac Efron are starring in a kind of reverse-Big. I'll probably see it. *facepalm*
phuck made some very pretty Christmas icons, and
ack_attack made All I Want for Christmas icons! Which reminds me, I need to do my Christmas cards tomorrow. I got paid, so I can afford it.
Tonight I saw Paris, Je T'aime
I've been hanging out to see this for ages, but it took a long time to download and then I got busy. It is basically just a bunch of short films, but a lot of them are really interesting, whether because they're cute and fluffy, melancholy or otherwise memorable. I found it largely very enjoyable. There were a few that didn't grab my attention, but the good ones were really good, and it's nice to see what some of the more famous directors can do in the shorter format; for instance, Alfonso Cuaron, in true Cuaron style, did his short film entirely in one take and still managed a twist; Tom Tykwer employed both running and the 360-degree shot around the head; Gurinder Chadha managed a cute, colourful interracial love story. It was a lot of fun, I think people should see it. Elijah showed up in the most unlikely place, but I loved his segment! Also, I recognised Gaspard Ulliel in spite of never having seen him in anything before, and am I the only person in the world with a crush on Rufus Sewell?

Now that's just disturbing.
I've been meaning to see Paris, Je T'aime for ages now. *sigh*

I remember being very confused by the segment with a man going to an Asian hairdresser (?)

I think I left just in time. The fandom is getting to HP-levels of wanky, and it's really annoying.

Ugh, I know. Every week there seems to be new wank. It's one of the wankiest fandoms I've ever encountered.
