I love that Jack knows it was Ianto. I don't get Gwen's reactions to things sometimes. She's way too emotional and she always yells and accuses people before anything else. And she's bossy and nosy. AND she can't figure out that maybe she's saying the wrong thing and that could be her Jonah because out of all the things she's seen, this isn't exactly the strangest. Why is he breathing like Vader?

It's a shame there won't be any more meetings for the other people. Poor Andy.

Yes, blame Gwen, nice. I mean...it wasn't the best idea, and I suppose she had to learn that for herself, but surely the woman should blame herself just as much for being so insistent on knowing. Man, Rhys is so solid. Shame he's so boring.

Well, Jack can't die so he's good to go. I love the flashback!wig sideburns, Jack. ack_attack would appreciate those. He dated a guy with no mouth? Did he read minds for a while afterwards? LOL he's flirting with her while she's SITTING ON HIM. Seriously, NOT going to work. Yummy, wet Jack. Kinky wet Jack. Fourteen times in six months, lol. Old school Torchwood is hardcore.

Planning a wedding? Why are they making everyone so completely different in flashbacks?? Can't anybody be like Gwen - you know, regular? Aww, poor thing. That sucks. She has my name! Oh, EW. Burn, wow. Owen is always beating on and then crying on Jack.
This doesn't really explain why Owen's a total womaniser now.

Owen reached out his hand after asking Tosh what happened to her...and touched Ianto.
HEY CAPTAIN JOHN! That's his brother? That was anticlimactic. Oh, I am so happy he's the big bad this season. All this because he's jealous? Those 51st century pheromones must be killer.

Is it just me, or should the show revolve completely around Ianto?
His flashback belt just killed me. Ianto in NOT a suit is just so foreign.

I like the others too. Ianto's had more to do this season, which is fantastic. I would be happy to watch The Ianto Show though ;)

I enjoyed the flashbacks for the most part, though there were a number of things that didn't quite work in them, PARTICULARLY if you take classic series continuity into account. Like if Torchwood was hunting the Doctor all these years, how come there were never any problems with them all that time he was stuck on Earth and working with UNIT?

The ending really ruined it for me though. "All this because he's jealous?" indeed. It's like a 14 year old's idea of what makes good drama. Completely pulled me out of the story.

I'd been liking the direction Torchwood's been taking the last couple of weeks, but now I'm pretty fed up. I'll watch the last episode this season since I've come this far, but I really don't know if I'll bother with season 3 now.

I don't know, I haven't seen much of Doctor Who.

I wouldn't let a little squabble like that ruin the whole show for me. It wasn't the Best Idea Ever, but it means we get more Captain Jack vs. Captain John, and there may be more to it that we'll find out next week. Even if there isn't, a lot of the stuff has been so good that it makes up for it in my mind. Particularly the boykissing, which, if I want more of that I'm pretty much limited to Brothers & Sisters and that's way too soap opera for me. A couple of issues aren't going to break a show for me.

After all, I'm still watching Supernatural.

Yes, he really, really was. SO MUCH SNARK. I'm with Jack though, I like the suit. I don't think it would've been as effective to see him in the other clothes if we weren't used to the suits, which look so good.

I still find it hilarious that there's only two Welshmen on the team, and one was from Torchwood London.

One thing bothered me, tho.
I'll admit it...

I'd choose Rhys over Ianto. I'm not really fond of "coffeeboy". But Rhys? I love every time he yells. He's completely brilliant!
Jack is hot and all, but I'd rather come home to someone like Rhys. He's warm, has a wicked sense of humour an offers the kind of stability I like. Plus, he's loyal. Which is a plus. ;)

I do like that he's loyal. I don't dislike Rhys, but sometimes I find him tedious. Meat was good.
