Had a rally today that was less popular than it should've been, but a lot more relaxed than past ones have been. Bummed around in Civic with Squishy and Mitchell for a bit, then had dinner with Mum's bf and his kid and watched Iron Man at Film Group tonight. It was almost better the second time. I kind of love Tony Stark. I spent half the film wanting to hug him (the half of the film I wasn't spending wanting to do...other things...to him.)

Fake Thomas Jefferson strikes back! LMAO. Oh, Drew Goddard, you rock.

New York Times reviews Dr. Horrible and seems to completely miss the point (also, gay subtext? Dude, I'm LOOKING for it and didn't find it), Joss Q&A (extended version of an older one).

Private Practice outtakes & deleted scene featuring Chris Lowell being all kinds of sweet and naughty.

Supernatural season 4 spoilers.

BSG cast interviews from Comic-con. James Callis is particularly lovely.

Zombies reciting haiku.

HAHAHHAA. BAD HORSE!! That picture is hillarious.

And now I understand why that Joss icon is BRILLIANT. I mean, he IS evil. :)

Hee. He's the secret member of the Evil League of Evil!

I found gay subtext in Captain Hammer's words:

Everyone’s a hero in their own way
Everyone’s got villains they must face
They’re not as cool as mine

So he admits that he has cool nemesis. lol

I can see the homosocial aspects, since Dr. Horrible really focuses on the relationship between Dr. Horrible & Captain Hammer rather than either's genuine interest in Penny, but that doesn't make it gay.

Is Captain Hammer singing about his own muscles a gay subtext? And, maybe I'm too old to get this one - how is "Keep your head up, Billy Buddy" a gay lyric?

BTW, love the picture of the Bad Horse Henchmen, thanks!

It's something to do with some literary reference, if Whedonesque is to be believed.

Yup, don't get the gay, either.

But DAMN if the Fake Thomas Jefferson isn't kind of hot.

I think it's my Norrington/Beckett fetish.
