So I have this little 16-year-old friend who used to work with me and now he's moved back to Brisbane, and he is making me very worried about him. Mostly because his family keeps beating him up. That kid needs a whole new family, and a decent job, and to go back to school. I feel a bit helpless, since there's nothing I can do for him.

The results of the EWwys: far more satisfying than the results of the Emmys, but Mary McDonnell should've taken it. Still, even though I know Jensen only won because it's an online poll and the Supernatural fans are...intense...he deserves an award for his incredible acting. And his face. His beautiful, beautiful face.

If it weren't for Dom I wouldn't even give it a sniff...but being fixated on Dom changes my mind quick.

Can't you call the authorities in Brisbane? Its worth an attempt. You don't have to see the abuse just know of it to report it....at least here you do.

He's moving out, I think, but now he's worried about his baby brother. I don't know where they live or much of anything, really.

By all means if he is worried for his baby brother then he needs to contact the authorities. I would say any kid that suffered abuse is most likely going to see the same thing happen to a kid brother.

Parents like that need serious help but the kids need it first.

Oh man, that's so terrible about your friend :( It sucks so much to not be able to do something about it. I had a friend back in school in the same situation, and you just feel so useless even if you can't do anything.

I actually think I sell the Dead looks like fun. Plus Dom.

And yay the Ewwys (still worst name ever)! Why can't actual awards ever be this awesome?

I know, I wish I could...tell him to come live with me or something, but it just isn't possible.

I think 'I Sell the Dead' looks like a movie I can watch, at least, and I might even enjoy it, but I'm saying I'd never give it a second glance if Dom weren't in it. Not saying it's bad, necessarily.
