Why does James Marsden always get shafted in movies? He's always stuck being the OTHER guy. It's not fair. He's gorgeous and talented AND he sings and dances!

James Marsden would make a perfect leading man. Charming, good looks, killer smile. I don't know why they are making him the next Bill Pullman or whatever - The Other Dude.

AND HE CAN SING AND DANCE. This is clearly of great importance to me. I love him so much in both Enchanted and Hairspray. I want to get to see him do THAT.

They keep saying musicals are making a comeback (and haven't they been making a comeback since 2001?), so Marsden needs more roles in the genre. Goddamn, don't say Zac Efron is the next Gene Kelly or whatever... give those roles to Marsden! And this is coming from someone who actually likes Zefron.

Musicals are only sort of making a comeback. We only get a couple of them a year, if that. Which is a shame, because most of the musicals being made at the moment are actually pretty good. (I think they've been making a slow comeback since...Chicago?)

I love Zac Efron, but he's too young to be the real musical leading man. James Marsden has the maturity and depth. Although James Marsden isn't really a Gene Kelly type...he's more of a Frank Sinatra without the mob ties.
