(Things I am eying up: the trio's wands, Sirius's wand, Marauder's Map, I Solemnly Swear t-shirt, DA bag. What I don't want: a Time Turner. Quick question, though: why the hell is the Gryffindor scarf purple? I reeeally want a Gryffindor scarf but not a purple one!!)

I stand by my assertion that a huge amount of the casting is perfect. I have had very few qualms with the casting, and the vast majority of the time I picture the actors as the characters when I read, and I think of the characters talking in their voices. I also think that Hogwarts itself has been perfectly brought to life. They get the story wrong most of the time, but the locations and the actors are almost always fantastic, so I'll give them props for that. It's hard to imagine a time when Alan Rickman wasn't Snape, or Maggie Smith wasn't McGonagall, or Rupert Grint wasn't Ron. I believe I've already voiced my thoughts about the perfect Evanna Lynch. Some of the others I amalgamate the actors with something a little more in-character (I edit Dan and Emma's hair, for instance), but I still think they've largely done a very good job. It's helpful in that I can always use still images from the movies as visual references, even if I can't watch them in motion.

Also, the creature renditions have been excellent.

Run, by Snow Patrol, makes me think of Sirius and Harry. Also, I downloaded a fanmix for shoebox_project years and years ago, so random stuff like Sing, Sing Sing (With a Swing) by Benny Goodman and Is This Love by Bob Marley randomly makes me think of the Marauders. Pretend to be Nice from the 'Josie & the Pussycats' movie reminds me of Ron/Hermione, too. That movie is kind of underrated and I wish I had more songs by them, they are actually cute girl rock/pop songs. That got off-topic...
