Um we watched where they show the film and the sound gets really messed up and near the end where Kathy sings for Lina live and then is revealed to have been her voice the whole time (I think I got those names right...). It's because we're studying sound this week, so the first scene was a good example of the complications that arose in the transition from silent film to film with sound and I honestly don't know why we watched the second clip but I LOVED IT SO MUCH. I REALLY want to watch the whole thing now!

You SHOULD! It's the best movie ever. The 'No, no, no! Yes, yes, yes!' part is one of my favourites in the whole movie. I love Lina.
