I've been rewatching 'Pushing Daisies' and 1.09 'Corpsicle' breaks my heart. It's filled with little boys who are broken and have horrible things happen to them they can't do anything about. Abner makes my heart bleed. 'Bitter Sweets' is an AWESOME episode.

I am so tired. Worked 7:30-6:30 today with only a doctor's appointment and a quick stop at the bakery to buy a sandwich as a break. Being the boss is kind of awesome, though.

When did Dom DeLuise die?! Also, I watched 'The Accused' last night and discovered that young Jodie Foster kinda looks like young Michael J. Fox. Trufax.

I have no idea what theme I'm going to use for my last whedonland spam. I have all these adorable leftover pictures I want to use, but at the same time I feel like I want to do a more specific one, maybe a Dollhouse cast spam.

I am mostly happy about the SAGs, especially the 'Glee' cast. Personally, I think Naya is the best dressed, then Lea. Amber looks adorable, but it kinda looks like her dress is trying to strangle her. I don't get Dianna's weird saggy dress, but I know nothing about fashion.

I totally don't have time for LJ at the moment and it is upsetting me. I've watched the Glee mid-season finale (okay, not my favourite), Dollhouse (WTF EPIC), Big Bang Theory (laughed out loud a LOT.)

Apparently they're trying to get us to think Dom's coming back to Lost next season, but he might be on a different ABC drama?

He's in the ABC house promo (apparently, I can't SEE IT);
Ausiello and Kristin diescussed it;
ABC has announced that he'll be a regular on an hour-long drama next season, but won't say which one.

Ausiello says it's a different show and ABC wants it to be a surprise, but who knows if he's coming back to Lost or not with a line like that? I don't know. If it's Grey's Anatomy or Desperate Housewives I'm going to be annoyed. Or Private Practice. (Although Dom and Chris on one show?!?!)

ETA3: 'I Sell the Dead' finally getting its release! It's a Domtastic day.

I kinda just wanted to make this post because I laughed when I saw this question on the home page. Think they know the kinda people using LJ at all? I'm pretty sure most lists wouldn't include Serenity or BSG.

My favourite is Firefly, fyi. Star Trek is pretty awesome, but it cannot compare to Firefly, and I need to give it a good decade or so before I decide how it measures up against Star Wars. I also love Galaxy Quest. I really want to get that on DVD.

To give you some idea of stuff I've been getting up to today: I had no idea Mark-Paul Gosselaar's mother is Indonesian! I am so productive. I watched a lot of The Big Bang Theory, which cracks me up, I love it. Also cool is this gender-reversed Star Trek 2009 picspam.

Fox announces fall schedule, acknowledges Whedon fans. It may only be lip service, but I really do think that the Fox establishment have been trying hard not to repeat the Firefly mistake and actually might even care about Dollhouse. I had a little rant about that at Whedonesque. I'm not going to repeat it.

I like the people on it but I think it's a little too much awkward humour for me.
Oh, also, I saw him in the 80's episode of Gossip Girl, because my sister loves the show. Ryan does get typecast a tiny bit, but he's always so damn good at it.

Dollhouse Watch: Pleased to Meet Me. And again, I feel like that's a misread of Topher. And of evil. And just...I don't know, I have to formulate my opinions properly for a super-blog about this one day, because I really do feel like a lot of the moral greys of this show get lost by intelligent people trying to write about morally grey areas on the show.
